About us

This shop has been an independent bookshop since 1991 when it was renovated( a bit ). Owners have come and gone, but there is always some interesting stock, new and secondhand. The shop used to be a hardware shop way back into the 1920's - think 'four candles' ..... and latterly a bread bakery, and had a 'weavers workshop' which is the two-storey corrugated-iron roofed ( so-called ) barn where the pre-loved books now live in the dry. There is a separate children's room. We stock llyfrau Cymraeg.
